Large School MBB Player of the Week: DeJuan Clayton, Coppin State

In two wins against Norfolk State, DeJuan helped the Eagles snap a 14-game losing streak to the Spartans and move into first place in the MEAC North Division. Clayton was the leading scorer in both games and averaged 21 points per game (10-19 FG, 4-9 3FG, 18-19 FT), 4 rebounds per game, and 7.5 assists per game. In nine games started and played, Clayton leads the team with 16.9 points per game average and is second in total assists with 48.

Small School MBB Player of the Week: Quinton Drayton, Lincoln (Mo.)

In two games where the Blue Tigers went 1-1, Quinton averaged 26.5 points per game (21-37 FG, 6-16 3FG, 5-5 FT), 7 rebounds per game, and 2 assists per game. Drayton has started all 10 games on the season and is the leading scorer on the team this season with an 18.1 points per game average.

Large School WBB Player of the Week: Anissa Rivera, North Carolina Central

In their first games in two weeks, Anissa help lead the Eagles to a split in their two games against Norfolk St. Rivera averaged 17.5 points per game (13-39 FG, 2-9 3FG, 7-17 FT), 10 rebounds per game, 2.5 assists per game, and 2.5 blocks per game. Rivera was also recognized as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

Small School WBB Player of the Week: La'Quanza Glover, Edward Waters

La'Quanza helped lead the Lady Tigers to a 3-0 week as she averaged 26.7 points per game (32-54 FG, 16-23 FT), 15.3 rebounds per game, and 4 assists per game during the week. Glover scored a career-high 31 points against Allen on Jan. 23, which was two games after she recorded the 2nd HBCU Women's Basketball "20-20" with 29 pts (previous career-high) and 20 rebounds vs Florida College.  Glover was also recognized as the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference's (GCAC) Women's Player of the Week.
